My response was "What? It's not hot till you leave footprints in the asphalt," and she was like "Seriously?!?!" and was really freaked out. If you ever visit the UK, talk about the weather in the South. It's so much fun seeing people's reactions.
"Oh yeah, there's bears around my school," is nice and effective. And "There's a big black rat snake living in my garage." Brilliant.
It was pretty cold in the winter, but not noticeably colder than back home, not that I noticed (but then, we've had some cold winters recently). Now (April 12th) it's 66 out. I know this from the complex scientific experiment that is sticking my clock out the window (my clock has a thermometer). And everyone was talking about it being "so warm" in class today XD
wow. In the Keys that's freezing.
ReplyDeleteI know!

Will do, thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteAnd it really sounds like my dream place, temperature wise. So how cold is it in the winter there?
Talk about the animals, too XD
